On November 7th & 8th we had a few emails from people having problems saving their packs. They were getting a “Server error. Operation failed” alert. We have found and fixed the issue.
In the version Beta5.38.6 released on November 7th we made some changes to the Lock It Up memory handling. The specific case in which the bug took place was after having re-entered your account after you’d locked it up, or it auto-locked. Once back in, the saving function was failing.
What you need to do
If you don’t see Beta5.38.8 (or higher) in your browser bar than please refresh your browser.
If you need to save changes before refreshing your browser, but can’t because you are getting the error message, than you can use the export function and copy the results. Refresh your page then paste your results into the import screen once you are back in (if you would like help with this, please let us know before you refresh your browser).
What are the consequences
Everything is ok. No data was lost, and you should be able to save your packs as usual once you refresh your browser. In compensation, the improved memory handling (now sans-bug) adds more security while your pack is locked up.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you continue to have problems,or if you have questions, please let us know.
